Features

The M1255 provides users with the mobility that is a factor that makes it an ideal clinical assistant for doctors. Powered by an Intel Atom core inside, the slim (25mm) and lightweight (1.6kg) design provides users with a slip-free grip for handling. It also features a 12 inch high-definition touch screen (1024 x 768 resolution), eight function keys, one 5-way control button and fingerprint scanner on front panel that allows clinicians to operate the device with finger or stylus. The M1255 is powered by two 2000mAh Li-batteries (the internal and the hot-swappable external battery) to extend the battery life to 3.5 hours and prevent system crash when switching power source. It is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, 2D Barcode scanner, RFID, fingerprint scanner and ample IO ports for flexible expansion purpose to connect other medical devices. The M1255 is also wirelessly connected with Bluetooth and WLAN module, allowing medical staff to get the electronic medical records (EMRs) quickly and accurately. Other features on the M1255 includes Biometric Fingerprint Validation which allows healthcare professionals to access real-time patient records and bring automated patient data management directly to the point of care; provides a platform for applications of MCA (Mobile Clinical Assistant), POC (Point-of-Care), EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and Telemedicine and Multi-Expansion by Docking Station (1 x LAN/1 x RS-232/3 x USB/1 x VGA/ 1 x Charging Bay).
