Summary: Bought this iPad several months ago. Didn't realize the G4 connection, the connection to the internet beyond the WiFi, is not working. Seller did not disclose that fact in the description. I did not realize it till going to a park, and trying to go online.
Summary: Spotty, not excellent performance. A Christmas disappointment. Problems getting VERIZON service, and the device does NOT always start up or work consistently well. This is a loser for APPLE, in my opinion. Mostly unused in my kitchen; I do not even look at it anymore.
Summary: first of all, I ordered this item and the company sent the wrong product. The IPad they originally sent was in very good condition. But I had to send that one back to get what I ordered. It was not in good condition. all four sides were dented on the ends.
Summary: When I ordered this Ipad it was advertised as the newest model when in fact this was a third generation. The price I paid for this ipad was the cost of the newest model at the time and the 3rd generations were selling for $100.00 less in all retail stores.
Summary: Hello, I am writting to you because I would like to say that I received my iPad but does not work, I went to the istore here in Caracas, Venezuela, and the seller told me that the iPad has a software's problem. What can I do? Thank you in advance.
It's more fun to look at or read about than to actually use it.

Summary: I never had another tablet, so can't compare - this is strictly "1st time user experience". Also, I never used Apple's products (have a long UNIX/DOS/Windows history, though), so some of the disappointment is probably caused by general Apple policies/approaches, not by this particylar iPad...
Summary: My IPAD 3 wi fi constantly slows down or loses connectivity after fifteen minutes in public wi fi spots. It does well at home. In hotspots it's unusable. I went twice to the apple store and a genius did a reset of wi fi networks, went out to test, no better, returned and requested an exchange as its...
Summary: We made extra for the device to have the infrastructure to have a VZ Wireless data plan tied to the iPad. This device works great on WiFi, but when we went to activate it with Verizon we were told they could not do so because the ICCID and MEID numbers do not match up in their system.
Summary: I was fortunate to be able to sell mine for the price I paid, and I used the money to buy a second Dell Ultrasharp 27" IPS 2560x1440p Monitor. I am far more pleases with the monitor for my own purposes as I do tons of HD video and Uncompressed Audio editing as well as semi-professional photography.
Pros: - Fairly good build quality - Decent screen (high ppi, average colors, acceptable refresh rate) - 4G LTE capabilities via Verizon for theoretical 25Mbs Down and 15Mbs Up - Good touch screen response, I admit that it is probably the best touchscreen I have used for a tablet - SoC (ARM A9(?) Dual-C...
Cons: - Display (yes I said it) is NOT anything special; color accuracy is poor, refresh rate stumbles, viewing angle is mediocre, and even a hint of glare makes it unusable - Terrible data speeds, and I live in an excellent 4G area; testing at same place consecutively, my Galaxy Nexus hit 28.46Mbs Dow...
Summary: This is my first tablet purchase and I thought I could minimize using a laptop. I travel a lot so I'll be using mostly for watching movies while traveling on a plane & surfing the web on the ground.
