Summary: Was not the color advertised (white). But at least it wasn't bright green and pink. Unit was well packed, and operated as expected. Battery life is good. Wife uses it around the house for cooking, music and Facebook, on the wireless network.
Excerpt: I have always been a techno freak and when I heard the iPad was going to be released of course I had the nerdy excitement of a toddler when he sees his mother. That probably made no sense, but fear not of my horrible analogies, here I am with this in depth review of the Apple iPad. There are many adjectives that can be used to describe the iPad, both of positive and negative connotations but my description is pure brilliance.
Excerpt: The iPad is Apples most recent addition to there portable media device family and was made to compete with higher end net books. Now I have owned a iPad for around 3 or 4 months now and i have to say it has met my expectations. Realistically the iPad is a Giant iPod but thats the whole point of it, its for the people that want to see more on a website instantaneously instead of pinching to zoom 4 times or trying to zoom with a netbook thats horribly slow.
Excerpt: The iPad is a device designed to fill the gap between the iPod touch and a laptop. If you are looking for an electronic device to replace your laptop or desktop computer, expect to be slightly disappointed with the iPad. However, if you are looking for a device to browse the web and listen to music, expect to be extremely satisfied. I purchased my 16 gb iPad when the device had just been released to the market in the early summer months of 2010.
Excerpt: There is much debate where the Apple iPad is concerned. Is it worth the money? Can it fully replace a laptop? Is it simply a glorified iPhone with a larger screen? All of these are certainly valid questions and deserve an answer before a product of such cost is purchased. This is a product that has much to recommend it. It is highly attractive, as is the case with most Apple products.
