Excerpt: After using this newly abundant technical gizmo for about a week, at the price of $499 it’s going for I would much rather purchase a laptop for the same price. While the design and subsequent visual appeal of the Apple Ipad is something to write home about, the functionality is not much to go on, unless of course one only intends to use it for basic applications, especially since it is only limited to applications and software approved by Apple .
Summary: I bought this iPad to replace a Gen 1 that was no longer supported and therefore not compatible with the newer apps coming out. I have some business apps installed as well as some games. Overall, it works pretty well (as a replacement to the Gen 1 iPad) but I have had it close out of apps on its own from time to time, even when I only have one app running (I had closed out of everything else by double-clicking the home button).
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Low Power Consumption
Summary: Hello, at the begining I Pad was working perfectly but now every time I'm going to use it its goes all crazy, it keeps chaging all on its own from one picture to another without stopping, It does it for a while when I start to use it and then after a while it settles down and it starts working fine. I need to have a diagnostic run on it. All my family have I Pads and they say that this is not normal. I'm going to take it back to the nearest Walmart to have check out.
Excerpt: I prefer Android platform devices, but the in my industry, the companies I deal with build their applications for Apple first, therefore, I'm stuck with Apple. They restrict what you can accomplish as opposed to Android and sometimes you have to attempt to download items to ibooks ten or fifteen times before it works. It just fails and tells you it cannot finish the task, but gives you no reason, then you keep trying and finally it works.
