Excerpt: Ok, I am a current and previous owner of Apple products, specifically iPhone and iPad 2. There has been much hype about the Retina Display, Lightning connector and faster processor. Since there has been a price reduction, I decided to purchase the iPad 4 from Staples. I think it iportant to understand, I am a fan of Apple products and I would own an Apple tablet and phone over ANY other brand.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy to Use, Efficient, Quality Construction, Reliable
Summary: I am still learning the ins and outs of the device and I am impressed with what I have experienced so far. The device holds its charge for a long time and is fast. It also takes very good photos. It was rather pricey, so my main objection is having to buy basic apps like word processing. The vendor, Tech Giant, delivered the product on time and even followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with the process of buying from them.
Summary: Bought mainly for spouse, who has become a regular user, liking the touch screen methods. But sometimes too responsive if fingers or stylus get too near.(without touching) But, overall, very good experience!
Summary: My wife had seen an iPad and, being a painter, liked the graphics apps that were available for it, so since it was her birthday... She loves it and now does everything on it... email, graphics, etc. Well worth the money.
Summary: Good construction and operating system. Really fast processing, still too pricey when compared with other tablets, I guess you pay a premium for Apple products. I hope they re-think this marketing approach.
Summary: I am unable to give a report because of age and loss of memory because of a stroke. I was not aware that I would have so much to do to make it enjoyable. I was hoping to be able to read a book and apply what I have read. I have the Dummy Book for iPad. It is great reading but I probably have lost far more than I thought I did. I will not give up because I think it will help me if I can do a few things.
