Summary: Bought this for my 77 year old mother. She loves the IPad but there were some operational issues. The IPad touch screen would sometimes not work and have to be powered down to reset. Also screen zoom would go on and off - regardless of settings. I returned item.
Summary: Sent this to my mother-in-law and portions of the screen stopped responding. She had to rotate to landscape to be able to type, and eventually had to avoid the right quarter (as seen in portrait view) of the touch screen no matter what, which meant rotating very often to touch a responsive region.
Summary: have called numerous times about this iPad and I talk to a customer representative and she said she was going to send me the mailin label them to mail the iPad back because I can't get it to workso where is the mailing labels after mail back to you I don't have a printer to do it on the computer...
Summary: I purchased this for my mom as a mother's day gift. Her needs didn't require the best and newest iPad, so I purchased this 2nd generation one. My star rating isn't with the retailer, but more with the product itself.
