Summary: The charger and cord are defective. I had to use a previously purchased charger to properly charge this unit up. Need another charger and cord to replace defective one. Looks like poor quality control, or someone into too much of a hurry to properly check out units.
Summary: This is the 2nd refurbished iPad I've purchased through Walmart - the first one was great. This one is missing the adapter and cable - and has a password on it - clearly it has not been refurbished.
Excerpt: It was fast enough.. today it's super slow! I have to use RAM cleaning app every 30 to keep using this device without it get stuck. web browsing is a challenge lately! the processor has degraded very heavly, so as the SSD inside... and 0.5 GB or RAM isn't enough anymore! also, the speaker has degraded to the point i have to touch my ear to the side of the speaker so sound will pass through the solid, not the air, otherwise it's not loud enough...
Pros: Accurate Touch, App Availablity
Cons: Bad Glass, Battery Life, Charging time, Difficult To Customize, Screen, Slow, Speaker Quality, Web Browsing, Wifi, Wifi Performance
Summary: I bought this Ipad 2 as a refurbished item so I expected some scratches or minor dings and to my relief, there were none and the Ipad worked as advertised. Except for one minor thing that greatly affects how I planned to use it. I travel quite frequently and like to watch movies while flying or in my hotel/motel room. I am also hard of hearing. And the earphone plug in my Ipad doesn't work.
Excerpt: I purchased an iPad and have been using it for about a month now. Apps are nice and checking e-mail and surfing the web work well... but... with out Flash support many of the websites and software I would like to run I can't. I't would be perfect if it allowed Flash!
Pros: Checking e-mail, Web Browsing
Cons: Difficult To Customize, Does not support Flash, Web limitations
Excerpt: I am not a picky person, neither an apple crazy fan. So I can relate to both sides, Apple and PC's. However, I would not recommend an Ipad, mostly because you don't get what you paid for. It has great features as weight, life time battery, and size. I just couldn't relate to it when using as a mini computer to take it to school.
Excerpt: I've used the iPad 2 for several years now through work and, honestly, it's overrated. If you're an Android fan, you won't be impressed. No widgets, no real customization, and most decent apps are going to cost you money. I also hate how I have to verify my password any time I download an app, even free ones. These days, the only things I use it for are watching Netflix while cooking in the kitchen and sometimes to play Draw Something.
Excerpt: I would have to say that Apple is one of the leaders in this new game. But I see it getting schooling with the limited ability to share with other devices. It has a smooth operating system. Clean launch, but it needs a little more for me to met their prices. The GB keep dropping and Apple is not up to speed with those of us who you all would call "Geeks." I do like the design but they need to find away to get more licences.
