Summary: Complete piece of junk. I have had my Fire for a couple years now and it has been nothing but a headache since day 1. Silk browser crashes all the time when more than 1 window is open, the entire device freezes multiple times each day, and tonight when I was surfing the web the device locked up (per...
Summary: I need instructions to read & follow. All I got was were to go on the internet. I've put my Kindle away because it's too confusing and will probably not use it. At my age, 76, I dislike having to look up every word of explanation online. Really disappointed.
Summary: The refurbished Kindles don't last that long. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE if you are going to buy a Kindle get the extra warranty...at least 2 years and if your New Kindle poops out for some reason...DEMAND A BRAND NEW ONE...NOT A REFURBISHED ONE.
Summary: Bought the 8.9 Fire with the 4G LTE AT&T service. After no direction at all on how to set up the AT&T service we finally managed to find out how to make the payment for the service, only to find out it is $50 per month instead of $50 per year as advertised.

Summary: I bought my Dad the Kindle Fire for his birthday and it froze constantly. The replacement has been no better and freezes constantly, also. If you google kindle freeze on the internet, this problem is all over the place and seems to be a common ailment.
Summary: After going round and round- thinking about what tablet/TV Fire combination to get- I tried the 7” HDX but found it small and hard to read from – I am older and my eyes aren’t what they used to be so I sent it back and ordered a refurbished 8.9HD – What A Mistake!
Summary: My Kindle HD8.9 has very short battery life, even in sleep mode it rapidly discharges it's battery. The touch screen is both inconsistent and un-responsive, frequently requiring several presses to input a single keystroke.
