Summary: I PURCHASED THIS KINDLE ON 5/6/13 AND NEEDED A REPLACEMENT WHICH I RECEIVED ON 10/3/13. I HAVE ISSUES OF IT SHUTTING OFF SEVERAL TIMES IN THE COURSE OF USING IT ANYWHERE FROM INSTANTLY TO A COUPLE OF HOURS AT A TIME. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE A FEW TIMES TO NO AVAIL. CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ARE ALWAYS VERY POLITE.
Pros: Beautiful screen, great sound, good battery life, easy to use, fairly intuitive. Very flexible. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: With so much flexibility it is at times difficult to know how to do specialized things like print or that functions like using a Bluetooth keyboard are possible. Typing with the electronic keyboard is tedious, but that is common to all tablets .
Summary: This is not what it's cracked up to be. I was sadly disappointed. I had high hopes for this. It doesn't take my stylist. I couldn't install anything on it. The browser sometimes freezes on a web page. It doesn't pick up wifi that well. Unless they can make a computer that takes my stylist, that would be awesome.
Excerpt: Like The Product. But would have liked to have had some instructions on how to use it. More than how to unlock it. Like how to find Books and how to buy Books and How to Use the Voice for Audio books. But It sure is great not to have to carry around Books.
Excerpt: Beautiful picture, clear screen, makes watching movies and tv shows fun. Excellent sound. Games are fun to play because of the large screen. It's not too small or too big, just right size. Can carry it in most medium to large purses.
Pros: Attractive Design, Compact Design, Durable, Easy To Read, Good Compatibility, Good Screen Quality, Great Software Bundle, Long Battery Life
