works well when it works, but it's not particularly durable

Summary: I bought this tablet because I have been using iOS for several years and wanted to make the switch to Android, but didn't want to invest a great deal into the initial try out. When it was working, it worked quite well. The WiFi sensitivity was pretty much crap, but other than that - it had good picture quality, videos didn't lag, apps were responsive. Unfortunately, it thoroughly failed the drop test.
Summary: This tablet has some apps in Chinese. I was told that I could change that in settings. Some were able to be changed but not all. It had limited number of apps avalible for this tablet avalible from several sites. I decided to put it back to factory settings, which was a mistake. When completed all was in Chinese. Everything in settings and everywere else. If you know Chinese this would be great, however I don't.
Great ... if only things worked like they were supposed to

Summary: I bought the Ainol Novo 7 Fire/Flame tablet several months ago, so have become used to its foibles. The original tablet was sent back because the camera did not work. I use large amounts of data (mainly PDFs, JPGs & MP3s), so a key factor in choosing this tablet was the provision of an external microSD slot. However, I soon realised that it was not possible to 'keep' a significant amount of data on my external 32GB microSD card.
Summary: this is my second tablet from Ainol and I am definitely cured from my sympathy to this brand. after three months the camera stopped working. unfortunately for this one I ve choosed this company from amazom which has really unprofessional service and dealing with customers is horrible, which means...... I do not recommend it anyone.
Summary: I got this Tablet for Christmas for my Daughter she liked it then in January it went wrong, we was to told by Amazon to send it back to China and we would have to pay for the postage £14.00 we did, 4 months later we have now received it back a new replacement, I still cannot believe that a there was no repair place nearer than china
nice hardware spec but very poor software implementation

Summary: I purchased the Ainol Novo Fire due to the nice specs and the very reasonable price. My first impression when removing it from the box was that the tablet was reasonably well made, especially considering it is not an expensive bit of kit. The only (relatively minor) issue I had with the build quality was that it felt like the screen could be depressed inwards near the power button. But this wasn't significant enough to really cause a problem.
