good specs but fiddly

Carlo Imperato, Amazon
27 April 2013
  • Summary: It is a decent product with good specs and several connection options. However it is unit fiddly and not always responsive. I liked the style, size and specs. I did not like the time it takes to start, freezing issues and need to fiddle with it for updates etc.

Ok..... I guess

paul oliver, Amazon
16 January 2013
  • Summary: Took ages to arrive as coming from China. Nice tablet with good screen etc. The down sides are obviously limited support for any issues you have. I wont buy one again as have had battery issues with it for ages.

Great tablet, excellent value

kevpuk, Amazon
19 December 2012
  • Summary: Bought this for my wife's birthday, wanting something with a decent enough spec and IPS screen. Naturally, there are caveats to buying a 'cheaper' brand such as Ainol, yet this tablet really is excellent.

ANDRES, Amazon
25 November 2012
  • Summary: It's a very good product considering the price paid for it at this moment, It's not a top tablet, but a good standard tablet, with a decent answer but without any firmware and software updates.

Great Product

Darren Brooks, Amazon
20 November 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this as i was looking for a decent 7inch tablet for my 9 year old son, I have the Nexus 7 and he is mad for it and to be honest after a quick flash of the ROM this looks and feels like the nexus - even is registerd on the play store as a nexus 7 which is sweet.

Solid, reliable tablet

A. Batey, Amazon
13 November 2012
  • Summary: This is the second Ainol tablet I have purchased (the first having been passed to my son) and I have been very happy with both of them. The Aurora II is noticably faster than the Elf but both are good enough for anything I have thrown at them, including the various graphics intensive games my son...

Good BUT!!!!

Peter Baker, Amazon
7 November 2012
  • Summary: The unit is well built, fast, very fast. It does get a little warm after a short time but nothing undue. The touch screen is very responsive and the display is crystal clear. WIFI was easy to set up and worked well. So why only two stars.....

Dissapointing product but excellent customer service (DrakoTek)

L.Smith, Amazon
4 November 2012
  • Summary: Bought this tablet from DrakoTek which was shipped from China (takes 7-10 days), arrived well packaged in bubble wrap. The tablet arrives in English which is great although some of the apps are in Chinese. I didn't know what they were so just left them be.

Great tablet if you are prepared to meddle!

Leo Meakin, Amazon
25 October 2012
  • Summary: The Ainol (unfortunate name) Aurora 2 offers a very high specification for an entirely reasonable price. Googling the tablet will get you many reviews and posts from people complaining about the issues they have had.

Aurora 2 tablet

Kevin O'Connell, Amazon
20 October 2012
  • Summary: I received this device about a week ago and I'm very pleased with it so far. It was shipped from China so I had to de-install some Chinese apps which took all of 10 minutes. Google Play was pre-installed on build 0705 of the Ainol stock firmware, so far I'm not inclined to reflash it as I've had no...
