Summary: The stock ROM had bloatware I wanted rid of it. Generally speaking it performed fine but with a loss of space and some apk compatibility limitations. I suddenly started having false dead battery readings and had to open the unit up to drain the battery and attempt calibration. It worked but the problem returned a couple months later which always means one thing. Installing a different ROM. Fast forward a few months of the unit sitting and I install Cyanogenmod.
Summary: Purchased direct from Ainol-Novo. Camera is bad. pages load slowly, cheap parts. USB port not functional. The charging port is not functional. Needs firmware update but have to use the usb to do it. Contacted the company and they have asked me three times if my computer recognizes the tablet. I don't have any idea how I can state that "the usb is not functional" that they will understand. Awful customer service. Save your money, add some to it and get an IPad.
Summary: I reported a problem with my Ainol Novo Fire tablet on 3rd of December 2013 before the warranty expired and finally I sent the tablet to you for its repairing. Since then I haven't had more than useless update about delays and I have been waiting for more than a month since you said you'll resend the tablet back to me. I have had to pay 30$ even the tablet was in the warranty period but the tracking number for the still not received.
Summary: I received my package over night as specified. I was able to immediately turn it on and it had a full battery ready to go! Set up was simple, speed very good and the picture quality is great for watching movies. I would have rated it a 5 star except one of the corners of the tablet seems to somehow be slightly separated from the backing. Not a deal breaker, works fine! Looks sharp and has a great battery life.
Summary: The tablet is very nice, it runs jelly bean, and the memory is upgradable through external sd cards. The camera in the front is a bit blurry but its workable and the all round tablet is great.
