Great beginners Tablet

Billy P., Newegg
19 March 2012
  • Summary: I bought this tablet because of the size in its price range and it has worked as stated from day one. The driver could be better but it still works just fine. The bundle software included Photoshop Elements, which is great, and four other titles which are very functional.
  • Pros: Large drawing area for the price, Stylus feels very natural in your hand, The pressure sensitive tablet surface works great and gives your drawings a natural look.
  • Cons: None so far

  • Summary: Adesso should spend more money and time in customer service, which is the downfall of many a tech company.
  • Pros: The tables has a huge drawing area compared to others in its price range and the pen works fairly well.
  • Cons: Unfortunately, the mouse is useless and the operating software that it comes bundled with is pretty sad on either a PC or a Mac. Contacting Adesso prompted them to ship me new software but still the same problems persisted. After a couple minutes of use the drawn lines would not track correctly. ...

Low Res + High Area = Gimmick Tablet

Anonymous, Newegg
13 January 2007
  • Summary: The other gave this a 5 star becuase it is his/her first tablet. This product wasn't designed for good performance. It was to lure people who want a high area tablet at a cheap price. NOT WORTH IT.
  • Pros: 9x12 area
  • Cons: 1) 3048 lines per inch is a low resolution in tablet standards. 9x12 area is huge. (THINK ABOUT IT.) high area and low resolution means terrible performance. Your strokes will look like you were writing on a sheet of bubble wrap. I can't even write my own name on this thing. 2) You can't use this...

  • Summary: I have two monitors. If you leave the tablet cursor location on "Absolute," one half of the tablet is for the left monitor and the other half is for the right monitor. I found this annoying, so I changed it to the "Relative" cursor positioning.
  • Pros: It's big, sensitive, and easy to set up. I cannot imagine drawing in photoshop any other way any more. This is the first tablet I've owned and I am completely impressed. I don't know how it might compare to a $500 tablet, but this one is amazing to a new user like me.
  • Cons: None that I've seen yet.
