Summary: I have owned this tablet for a year now and it is still fast and still reliable. Even though I have a faster desktop I still use this tablet more. heat has never been an issue, wireless signal has always been solid, and the ssd performance is as unrivaled today as it was a year ago.
Summary: A life-long desktop man, I bought this to play with mostly to familiarize myself with Windows 8 because, well, you know, someday we'll all need to know how 8 works. I find myself using it quite a lot more than I had imagined. OS aside, I really like the little bugger. Perfect size, not too heavy, fast and reliable. It has been dropped several times by my two little nieces who just love to play games on it. No damage at all, so far.
Summary: I saw others that had problems with various things on the pc. I stripped out the crap that I could, reloaded drivers, and turned it back to as close to Win 7 that I could get. I use a mouse and the touch screen for different applications. Maybe on Win 8????? or whatever, they will get a clue. There's the desk top world, tablet/laptop world and handheld world.

Summary: The Acer Iconia W700 is the future! This tablet is a fully functional and highly advanced x64 quad core computer. I've been able to install Ubuntu 13.10, though haven't gotten it to dual boot Linux and windows yet (in the process). I bought this tablet to replace my shattered Iphone, 7" tablet, and broken laptop and am thoroughly satisfied with it's form, function, and compatibility.
