Customer Support is awful, keyboard is awful

  • Summary: Out of the box, the keyboard did not work correctly. The trackpad causes the cursor to jump all over the screen. The keyboard repeats characters and sometimes does not echo characters at all. Basically the keyboard is not usable at all. I called Customer Support expecting a standard response of "a new keyboard is on the way". Well, I was in for a rude awakening. After a hour in Level 1 chat, I get transferred to Level 2 support. Then, the chat starts over...

  • Summary: *** I've had this ACER now for several months - time enough to get used to it - wish I didn't get it. The touch pad started malfunctioning - not responsive to the touch. DON'T LIKE IT. I've had this ACER since June and it's now September - and I HATE IT! I've had so much trouble with it and today it won't even boot up! SHAME ON AMAZON FOR SELLING SUCH A JUNK PRODUCT without a fair guarantee or customer support for it.

Worst tablet ever used

  • Summary: Had it for a week, returned it as soon as the screen started getting this weird pixelation on and off. The thing is blurry on Hd pages. Typing takes practice because it ''lags'' so you have to wait for it to recognize what you type, stuff like that. The burry screen is as if its not compatible with the web sites or something.

Stay away from the Acer product

  • Summary: I purchased this tablet and within two weeks the micro HDMI port was non-functional. I was expecting a replacement tablet, but was told Acer would try to fix it, but I would need to send it in and they would see what they could do. Acer told me new tablet was not an option, and the repair, if it could be repaired, would take several weeks. Purchased another tablet and trashed this one. Keep looking.

  • Summary: I get the same known issue of the erratic touchpad. Now the keyboard died on me after 6 weeks of use I contacted Acer Customer Service, and I need to send the tablet to a repair facility. I have to pay for the shipping cost. Customer service played the rolled of not knowing anything. Asked a question, not response then. Update on 3/8 I sent the unit for repair. I paid the shipping cost. The unit come back last Tuesday.

  • Summary: Keyboard dock worked for 2 hours, then died completely. Acer requires that *I* pay to have the whole unit shipped to a repair facility, where they advise me the machine will be wiped. Have been on the phone with tech support for half an hour and am still struggling with them to get the return process finished. Fine machine, except that it doesn't work.
