Still working.

MonJ, Amazon
10 July 2013
  • Summary: It is refurbished, it came with good packaging but the tablet itself looks like it had gone thru wear and tear test. It has a driver problem with Windows 7, good thing that Windows came and everything is ok now, except that I have lost the original program installed by Acer.

  • Summary: This tablet is a great tablet, the reason for the 3 stars is it should have wins 8 which is what I installed in mine. It love's it 7 works okay but it's not designed for a tablet. I installed the wins 8 beta preview release candidate it works great.

Great Tab, Tough Design

Nicholas T., Newegg
18 June 2012
  • Summary: I tried replacing the SSD with a larger 64 bit one, and I'm still having problems getting the thing working. Be warned - it's not as easy as the other reviews may suggest; you'll need some significant technical know-how. Acer customer support isn't particularly helpful, either.
  • Pros: * Good processing power, can play light games well * Built-in keyboard case is functional and helpful * So many USB ports!
  • Cons: * Very heavy for a tablet * 32 GB is barely enough for a good OS these days, forget games * Back case is a HUGE PAIN to remove * Can't upgrade RAM * Need to buy a separate USB DVD drive to use recovery discs!

If needing space buy a laptop

tazzink, Amazon
22 March 2012
  • Summary: I have this tablet, and can say for the most part does what is says, If your needing hard drive space make sure you buy an sd card for your files, or music as you will run out of harddrive space fast. Run windows 8 consumer preview flawlessly, full hdmi support video, and audio through hdmi.

Good tablet but video playback issues may force me to return it

R. Lewis, Amazon
24 December 2011
  • Summary: Like many others I was looking for a tablet that I wouldn't have to download an app to perform basic tasks like editing a document etc. I received the tablet and after lots of tweaking I was able to get it up and running like a tablet should (minimal boot up time).

Good Product, Poor Perfromance

Jefferson E., Newegg
15 November 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this product quite a while ago, but have been disappointed with the performance. While it is capable of running all Win 7 applications the 32Gb SSD is extremely slow and the touch response lags terribly.
  • Pros: Good size and format, keyboard works well, good graphics performace
  • Cons: SSD is small and slow, USB ports covered if docked, touch response sluggish

good but some quirks

JCEL "Joe", Amazon
25 July 2011
  • Summary: I bought this because I want a Win 7 machine with touch. I had my eyes on a netbook but this came along. I am not an Apple person but got a company issued ipad 2, so I have something to compare this to.
