Some heating issues, but otherwise just as advertised.

Summary: I'll try to be brief. Pros: - Wide, pleasing screen size, good heft to the tablet itself - Acer Ring works as advertised, love the Lock Screen shortcut - New update to the Settings has made life easier, especially the ability to turn Bluetooth on and off with just a tap - Love the graphics, has taken and chewed up every game and movie I've thrown at it - Decent sound; wasn't expecting too much on this end, but it was clearer than my old laptop - I love the function of...
Summary: It's a good product and since my cellphone is an android too, I'm familiar with the system. However, it occasionally freezes and I have to wait for it to unfreeze. That's why I didn't give it 5 stars.
Summary: Overall, this is a well built solid offering from Acer. Display, sound, and connectivity perform better than expected. One advice though, make sure you update to the latest iteration of the Android OS (I.e. Jelly Bean); it resolves both the screen sensitivity and overheating issues. The only downfall is the location of the charging port....very inadequate.
Summary: So, I've got a Nexus 7, which I never see anymore, because my stepdaughter confiscated it months ago. I was waiting for the Nexus 10, but a price of 4 big bills and mixed reviews, I thought I'd look for a 10 inch Android tablet alternative elsewhere. My mother-in-law bought an Acer Iconia 500 over a year ago and seemed pleased, but at the time I thought 5 bills was a bit high and pre-ICS was not so attractive.
Summary: I bought 2 of them for my daughter and myself. It is not perfect yet but I guess it is the future and of course beating the apple cost wise! USB and HDMI are great and it is easy to use with the new Android system. Haven't missed anything yet. Unfortunately the language and country settings are limited with Android.
Summary: the tablet is very snappy and all around fast even when multi tasking. the screen is very responsive and bright. the battery life is absolutely awesome!! i have honestly never had it go down more then 50% in a day and i am a hardcore tablet user, i use it at school, home, and friends houses. I was debating whether to get this or the Asus Transformer tf300 and im happy i picked this because in my opinion this is much faster and has a better build quality.
Summary: Being my first tablet, it was what I needed. But it becomes unresponsive to touch every now and then, and, there being no "Ctrl Alt Delete" function, I have to wait a few minutes at times before it responds. Don't get me wrong, I found it a lot better than ANY of my friends' current tablets.
Excerpt: I just got this tablet today on sale and I have to say I am impressed at how light weight it is. The screen quality is also awesome. The touch screen is super easy to use as it works with the slightest touch. It goes from screen to screen in no time and I am able to have multiple screens open at the same times fro effortless scrolling between pages. It can also be used as an ereader which is awesome. I love this tablet.
Excerpt: I bought this product last year at best buy on a black friday. It was on sale so i got it for a cheap price, gave it to my bf for christmas cause he's been asking for an ipad and we couldnt afford it. He loved it. He used it for about a year untill we ungraded to an ipad.
Excerpt: I own a acer tablet and i really like it. the price was low enough for me. I love that it is portable and it came with a lot of applications. I found that it was very easy to use which was good since mine didn't come with a complete instruction book. It came with a electrical charger but i would have liked if it included a computer charger also. I hooked it up to our wireless network which was super easy. It searched and found it then asked for our network password.
