Summary: I've had the A501 for about a year now. It's been around the world and survived a toddler and 4 year old. Functionality is pretty good, except the provided browser crashes constantly. The main issues I've had is the screen will lock in position (without the lock switch) making operation very inconvient. I looked online on forums and consulted the manuals and hacks but nothing solved the issue.
Amazing product. No better place and no better value for money !

Summary: An amazing product. Very neat very shiny very addictive. The price was mind blowing !!!! I sincerely hope to be dealing business again with the seller. Battery was fully recharged for no more than an hour and a half during extensive use and toying with. It may seem a bit heavy but it is not really ! Various features and very pleasing while used.
Summary: Just what I wanted. But I find out now that I could have saved some money if I had gone with the 500 instead. You really don't need the 3g capability on a tablet if you have a smartphone that you can use as a 3g hotspot. I had my service carrier set it up for $20.00/month for 2gb on my current plan and that way I didn't have to change to their new tier plans. It works very well of the 3g hotspot, once you learn how to set it up, thanks to tech service advisor.
Summary: So I purchased an ACER A501 / ATT Tablet. Great piece of hardware, but a horrible company. The problem is, ACER will not provide ANY customer support for any device which is "refurbished" The first thing customer service does is check the SN. If it is registered as a refurbed unit, they will not answer a question or even offer a "paid" repair. They fob you off to the refurbishment company and tell you any service or support is their problem.
