Excerpt: Acer is a computer maker and now making tablets. Ever since the iPad was introduced, computer makers started to make tablets. I’ve used and experienced with a few of these tablets. The Acer Iconia is one of the better built tablets.
Summary: Tablet worked great for a while, but this model has a very common issue of freezing up then erasing all data, including the recovery image after about a year of owning it. it is impossible to reload software onto it after this effectively making it worthless, unless you rooted it before hand.
Summary: Where do I begin to describe how much I hate this thing. First of all it doesn't support Adobe Flash Player so I can't play games on Pogo or most other game websites. Then it will not allow me to customize my wallpaper without cropping all pictures which then leaves about an inch by inch picture on a 10 inch screen with a bunch of black surrounding. It's much too heavy to hold comfortably for reading books.
If I needed an other tablet, I would purchase it again in a heart beat!

Summary: My daughter wanted a tablet so I purchaed the unit from these guys in Canada. This unit was marked refurb but it's like new in the original box. I also have an Acer A500 tablet for myself and I bought one for my older daughter also. These units work like a charm. I use mine for work. They can do all in a pinch and nice presentation unit.If you need a tablet, you may want to consider this one, the price is right and it works with no glitches!!!
Summary: I've been using this for over a year now. Acer provided an update of the Android OS once after I purchased it, but they have announced that they do not have plans for future updates. It still works great though. I love that it has all sorts of ports/connectivity.
Summary: It's not an Ipad or a Samsung, but it gets the job done. We did have to send it back to Acer about 6 months after we bought it because the Hard Drive completely died, but Acer's customer support was great. Sent it back within a few weeks with all fixed. it seems to get bogged down and frequent reformats are neccessary to keep it running smooth, but I can't argue with the screen and audio clarity. WiFi works well.
