If I needed an other tablet, I would purchase it again in a heart beat!

Summary: My daughter wanted a tablet so I purchaed the unit from these guys in Canada. This unit was marked refurb but it's like new in the original box. I also have an Acer A500 tablet for myself and I bought one for my older daughter also. These units work like a charm. I use mine for work. They can do all in a pinch and nice presentation unit.If you need a tablet, you may want to consider this one, the price is right and it works with no glitches!!!
Summary: While I feel like many people seem to think that there is a "best" tablet and everyone should strive to buy that, I approached my purchase of a (then) Honeycomb more like I would a laptop, analyzing my potential uses for the tablet and then applying that to my buying decisions. For the record, this tablet is upgrade-able to Ice Cream Sandwich, making it a much better tablet.
Summary: I've been using this for over a year now. Acer provided an update of the Android OS once after I purchased it, but they have announced that they do not have plans for future updates. It still works great though. I love that it has all sorts of ports/connectivity.
Summary: It's not an Ipad or a Samsung, but it gets the job done. We did have to send it back to Acer about 6 months after we bought it because the Hard Drive completely died, but Acer's customer support was great. Sent it back within a few weeks with all fixed. it seems to get bogged down and frequent reformats are neccessary to keep it running smooth, but I can't argue with the screen and audio clarity. WiFi works well.
Summary: I bought this in Oct as a Xmas present but at Xmas it didnt work correctly. I tried everything, couldnt even restore it. LSI says they wont fix because it was 3 months old and Acer wont fix because it was refurbished. Not sure it was refurbished if it doesnt work, so i have a $200.00 paper weight. Beware! Buy at your own risk. I gave 1 star because the paper weight looks good.
Summary: This was a very nice tablet for 13 months. Did everything I wanted, received update to ICS, I was a happy camper. Then yesterday, it wouldn't boot--got stuck on the Acer logo screen. I figured a soft reset would take care of it. Nope, nor would a hard (factory default/wipe) reset.
I have quite a few tablets and this is one of my nicer units ..

Summary: I have quite a few tablets and this is one of my nicer units. I'm not gonna get into all the specs and details, you can look that up yourself. But I would recommend this tablet, it's a very good android device.
Summary: I purchased this unit about 10 months ago and gave it to my parents. They are not tech-savvy by any means but I figured this tablet was easy enough to use. A month ago, I upgraded the unit to ICS from Acer's website (which by the way is not a simple process). After a month in, the tablet completely locked up and froze at the "Acer" boot screen. I followed all the online instructions of trying to give it a hard reset to no avail.
flimsy power switch makes tablet into paper weight
4 December 2012
Summary: A great tablet but it has one very bad flaw, the power button is fragile and will break 9/10 times after a short period. The actual switch itself is very ,very tiny and fixed to the motherboard and is about 1/2 size of a a chicklet and has 2 small tabs holding it in place. When the power switch breaks the unit is worthless and almost impossible to repair.
