Summary: When I bought this tablet 3 years ago, this was the only option for a 7 inch android at that time. Having said that, I have no regrets. I have been using it for three years without any issues (though headphone port doesn't work anymore). It has been a handy companion for me on several occasions.
Excerpt: I got the A100 about June of 2013-- Almost immediately fell in love with the design- felt comfortable and fit perfect in my hand. Although this is a WIFI only tablet, That's all I was searching for and the lack of a Mobile network to power compliments the battery life greatly.
Pros: Size, Loud speakers
Cons: Screen is hard to see on angle, Toggle switch not customizable- Screen rotate only.
Summary: I bought an A100 refurb in 2012-08 from another source, and while I've love it despite a few frustrations, it's died on me only 11 months later. In my research hoping to find a cure (basically, it never gets past the Acer splash screen during startup), I've discovered that this model has a history...
Summary: I got the tablet earlier than the estimated delivery date. It worked great for about two months, then turned into a brick. I looked online, and it seems this is a known problem with the A100 tablet. Acer nor the company I bought this from would help. Was a total waste of money.
Summary: In September 2012, buy ACER Iconia A100 tablet, which enjoyment for a time, but a month ago stopped working. At encerderlo only shows the "ACER" and remains "frozen" take her to a taler repair (software only) and they said they had no repair, suggested I return it to the store for repair. I can do?
Summary: In early 2012 the A100 looked like a good 7" tablet deal. True, it was underpowered, it had a grainy screen, and battery life was too short. But it was useable, it ran a current version of Android, it was sturdy, it appeared Android operating system upgrades would continue, it had full access to the...
Summary: This is the first Acer product I've bought and it will be the last. The warranty expired literally 10 days before the screen failed (which is just 90 days). They wouldn't accept it as an exchange, got it repaired and it failed again. Stay away.
Summary: the tablet was nice in the beginning, and the price was about half of its competition. the 7" size was perfect for my pocketbook. and then.... it started to slow down. and then when ICS came out and it updated itself it started disintegrating.
