Summary: They're surprisingly sticky on pavement for A/Ts and pretty good in the snow (although no comparison to dedicated snow tires). They're good in the rain too. A little noisy, but nothing objectionable. They seem to be wearing well, but I also don't expect any good-performing tire to last forever (40k is good in my eyes, especially considering this Jeep is a bit hard on tires).
Summary: By far these are the best tires I have ever purchased. I've never had such a smooth ride in a truck or such great performance in all weather conditions. I Highly recommend these tires to anyone.
Summary: These tyres are VERY plush while you break them in. It takes a couple thousand km for them to stiffen up. The higher your PSI the quicker they become stable. Explination of this is that the tyres are excreeting excess oils that make them soft and slick on wet spots/ice. So be careful of extreme manuevers & hauling loads/trailers during this period. Once broken in, these are fantastic. They haul 4000lbs apiece, far more than my axel ratings.
Summary: Replaced old to to mt with 50,000 + and can really tell the difference. Not only did the truck completely stop wondering on the road but steers so much lighter. The best part is I gained 3-4 mpg .
Summary: I don't know what kind of snow the first reviewer was driving on but here in southern Manitoba we get the worst snow and driving conditions possible. Just put these tires in size 285/75/17 on my Dodge Diesel and they are fantastic! Better than BFG and Goodyear hands down!! Cut through snow and held good on ice. Did not have to use 4x4 as much and felt very confident in extreme driving conditions! I highly recommend this tire!!
Summary: I bought a set of 285x75R18s for my F-150. I typically run BFG AT TA/KOs but due to several circumstances I was not able to get these tires. I put nearly 8,000 dry miles on the Open Countrys and they were fine on dry pavement and dirt. they are a little loud and have a hard ride but you would expect this from a 10 ply tire. where I found this tire lacking was in the snow. It was as if I was on skates.
