Summary: Great tyre holds the road well always had them on my focus until the last set iv had seemed to have worn very fast, cornering has taken the tyre down on the outer tread marks but not the middle.
Summary: These tyres were already fitted on my car when I bought it. At the time of purchase they had appx. 6mm of tread left. They have worn well, now finally needing replacement after nearly 20,000 miles of driving. The dry grip is excellent, and the wet grip is great too - I have driven through monsoon like weather on the motorways, and these tyres have never let me down. Feedback is great, road noise is minimal and the comfort level is good too.
Summary: The steel wheel (16"!)version of this car was shod with 205mm wide tyres; mine came with 17" alloys and 225mm wide P6000 tyres and I'm wondering how much difference the extra 20mm has made to the performance!? Grip in the dry has been exceptional even during spirited drives across good cross-country roads.
Summary: I've probably had a few sets of these in the past and have had no problems so I recently bought a full set for my Astra. The price of the tyres was only marginally more expensive than some budgets so a better buy in my opinion. The car handles fine in the wet and dry and I expect at least 20k miles out of the front set as they are very hard wearing. I also found the p6000 good in the snow compared to some of the other premium brands Ive had in the past.
Summary: Superb on the big Merc. Wear rate on these cars are low anyway but the P6000's have done superb and still have 2.7mm left to go. Dry and wet grip is superb, road noise is low and cornering is excellent.
Summary: Further to my earlier report last year, 50 year old git here. When these tyres got worn to 2mm yread at the lowest, they got 4 mpg per pair worse! Then ran over a ring pull and stabbed the inside shoulder, instant flat, 5th in 1,250,000 miles. on inspection, there was nothing there to stop the ring pull! I have not been able to replace these, so I went for some GoodYear Efficient contacts for £55 per pair cheaper with an efficiency rating I found of B.
Summary: I have these on the front of my Rover 75 (2.5L Petrol) and am generally pleased with these boots. The grip on the road in dry conditions is impressive and have had no problems when driving at speed in the wet. The car handled well when I hit flood water on the M25 whilst driving at 70mph. These tyres are about to be replaced with another pair of the same after 40k miles as I am satisfied with the wear, comfort and low noise.
