  • Summary: Cheap Asian import tyre performance at a premium price. Stiff sidewalls. Resistive tread, quite warm after driving. Wears FAST (15-20k miles for ECO drivers!). VERY poor aquaplaning ability. No sign that you are at the limit until sudden tramlining and loss of control - absolute 'ditchfinders'. In the dry, performance is OK only for commuting. It will not corner and accelerate at the same time. It lags behind other similarly priced tyres. They also roll very heavy.

  • Summary: 12,000 miles of living dangerously (front tyres). I drive a mix of twisty Scottish B roads and motorways. You would be better painting your wheels black in respect of wet braking and cornering, and not much better in the dry. Noisy too. Never buy these tyres unless life has just go too much and you want to end it all in an R.T.A......you'll likely get your wish !

  • Summary: OK in the dry. Very poor wet grip and sudden breakaway. Would not mix these with other tyres as my experience of having them on the rear axle and Goodyear on the front was positively frightening in the wet. The poor wet grip means that I would not purchase them again.

  • Summary: Not a great tyre. Dry grip is fair, although they do tend to screech easily if you take a corner at anything faster than a moderate speed. Wet grip is terrible, worse than newer budget tyres. Wear is only average (Lasted 12000 miles on the front). These were an ok tyre back in 1995 when they were launched, however tyre technology has moved on. You can get much better, more modern tyres now for less cash.
