New shoes for my Pony
8 April 2015
Summary: Needed new tires for my 2012 Mustang. Figured I'd ask other Mustang owners, so requested advice on a Mustang owners forum. Almost without exception, they advised the Michelin Sport or Super Sport. I went with the Pilot Sport AS3, and wow !! Great ride, superb handling and quiet.
Summary: Purchased 4 tires at 106,800 miles. Had front end alignment. Kept tires at recommended psi. Rotated at 112,500 miles. At 119,100 miles the 2 front tires did not pass inspection due to cores showing.
Summary: I purchased these tires since they are the only low profile speed rated tires on the market with a mileage warranty. I barely have 30K miles on the tires - rear tires are at 3/32 and front tires are at 4/32 - basically worn out. Tire wear is even on all 4 tires.
Summary: These are my favorite tires i have ever owned. I have owned a lot of tires through the years and used to manage a tire shop years ago. These perform better than my summer tires from a major competitor did. Especially in daily driving conditions or in the rain and hug the road in the conrners.
Summary: So I special ordered these tires from a non Michelin dealer. Got them installed and was eager to see the great hype over these tires. I have a 2015 IS250 F Sport and these tires did not perform as to what I expected.
Summary: After many years of owning several sets of the A/S Plus version of this tire, I had high hopes for the A/S 3 when it was announced. I got 53k miles out of my A/S Plus in 245/40-19 front and 275/35-19 rear which is incredible mileage.
Summary: I got these tires put on my 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero. Best decision i ever made. Tires are very sticky in the summer time and offer plenty of traction in the snow and ice. Recommend these tires to anyone and everyone
Summary: These tires are superb, especially in wet or otherwise slippery road conditions. They replaced a set of competitor's tires that I had lost complete confidence in. I am happy to report that these tires have returned to me the joy of driving. They are, however, a bit pricey.
Summary: I love Michelin tires and when I got my new Audi A6 in 2014 I pulled the stock tires and out these on as they had great reviews and I always felt Michelin tires are superior. Well, these tires ride and handle great and are quiet.
Summary: Great looking tire and the tread profile allows rotation of the 2 rear tires, greatly extending the tire life. Kudos to Michelin on this new tread profile and design. I'm proud of my tires and the super service from Tread Depot.
