Summary: I must agree with the poor snow performance of this tire on the ford focus, it really is quite dissatisfying. I too experience less than a 1/2 inch of snow and the vehicle refused to move. With traction control enabled the system did exactly what it was designed to do: Hunted for traction with a brief turning of one tire, then the other, then back to the first and so on.
Summary: Since I've only had my car with these tires for less than 6 months, it's really too soon to tell much about the tires. This is my daily driver and my commute is about a 1/2 hour each way to and from work. I did go on a road trip with the car and was pleased with the mileage, which the tires may have somethig to do with. My only wish is that they were all-season instead of 'summer' tires.
Summary: Hey all! Just reviewing this rubber tyre because i think it is then. When going to rubber out my writing on my page of pencil writings i took the tyre to rub out the stuffs that i didnt then on page. When rubbing it was big and cool but big not small cos large. Then rubbing didnt rub and writing was staying on paper sheet. So i dont undestand that how it and also? Could someone explain to me that it isnt comprehendable rubbering?
Summary: Bought these (expensive) tyres because they were claimed (in early 2012) to be fuel efficient, with very good wear resistance. Performance of tyre was ok, but they are noisy, and the wear rate is VERY high; despite having a wear index of 320, a pair wore out in circa 18,000 miles, with very careful driving style. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Summary: Standard driving, wheels are all aligned correctly and 11,000 miles with 2.5mm left! Absolutely rubbish at £130 each, would not buy again at £50 each. Switched to Kumho at £75 a pop, we will see but they seem good up to now.
Summary: This tire came as factory equipment on my 2012 Ford Focus Titanium as part of the "handling package". The car is driven 35,000 km/yr - a mix of city and highway - primarily as a commuter car. The tire and suspension setup handles well in summer condition (wet or dry). The Pilot sport tires were replaced with XIce snowtires for winter driving, so i can't comment on how the Pilot's might work (or not) in winter conditions I noticed a reduction in average fuel economy with...
Summary: Fitted to a Clio 182 cup The original tyres wear Michelin pe2 The sidewall of the tyres fold under around corners and give little feedback trough the wheel They are also quite noisy getting a last place in auto express tyre test. They are overall about an inch and a half narrower than the original tyres. They are not max performance road tyres because of the jelly like side wall. They look average almost like a budget they look stretched on the rims.
