Summary: Got these tires as part of the Ford Focus Titanium edition. The first thing that I noticed is the noise with those tires. The noise has subsided after ~5000 miles. I had my first low pressure warning after a brief rain storm in CA. Had to put some air in it, but it is almost impossible to find reference table for proper psi for hotter climates. I have the feeling that those tires are the reasons that my gas milage sucks.
Summary: Please be aware of the tread wear and life of this tire that is not going to surpass 20k miles even with perfect tire pressure and front end alignment. The compound is very soft on this performance tire and most people will find the life short in my opinion. If you use a good synthetic oil, you will get two oil changes and then you will need a a new set of tires that is going to likely cost over $1k dollars!!!!! Buyer beware!!!!
Summary: These tires came on my 2012 Ford Focus and are great when there is no snow, but cannot get traction in the white stuff. Why would a car manufacturer put these on a car where you specifically asked for the winter package?
Summary: These tires came on my new 2012 Focus. I got stuck in a parking lot at the grocery store with 2 inches of snow. Great tire if you never see snow but new cars in Kansas should not come with these tires on them. I'm stranded if it snows until I can find another tire.
