Tires What More Is There To Say!!!!
Coty Lake, Amazon
30 December 2013
Summary: Try number two for this review. So I bought these a few months back because I needed tires for my 1995 BMW 325is with aftermarket rims and coil overs. The car drives good because these tires are good and work well for what their intended purpose is. I bought them from amazon vs other websites like tirerack because amazon ships free to their amazon prime members and I needed this quick. The price was good for what I was getting and even compared prices on other sites.
Summary: I'd give five stars for ride quality--very quite and gives you the nice new car feel. Gas mileage seems good, too, and with about 15000 miles on them so far the wear seems better than expected as well. I'd give 3 stars for grip, though. I have them on an A4 quattro and they don't grip anywhere near the Falcons I had previously. They are very predictable, though, which significantly makes up for the lack of shear grip when pushing the limits.
Summary: These replaced the terrible continental tires that came with our 2011 VW TDI Sportwagon. We don’t need all-season tires here in south Florida. These provide a MUCH quieter ride than the conti’s and provide far superior handling. The car just drives better with these. As usual, fast shipping and great price with Amazon.
Summary: I own a 2009 VW Rabbit with 16 in alloys - these Hankook's replace the original Conti Contact (which, after only 34,000 miles of non-aggressive driving, came up completely bald). Evan's Tires had a "buy 2 get 4 sale", plus a $80 mail-in discount from Hankook, and I was sold ($320 out the door, including mounting, stems, nitro, taxes etc.).
Summary: the first set were defective because of the way they were shipped. The second set wasnt shipped the same way and were fine but the tires are smooth sailing. They are much quieter then the original tires I had on the car. I dont hear the tread hitting the pavement like i did at first. The cornering is superb no tires left behind. I have not had to peel out or slam on brakes for anything and I dont like to because it leave the tire on the road.
Summary: These tires not only improved the ride comfort and quietness of my 2011 Mazda3, but also provide an aggressive look as well. These tires are a definite improvement from the bumpy & noisy OEM tires my Mazda came from factory with. If you are looking for an improved ride, quietness and good cornerning all at a great price, then look no further!
