AVOID - Hankook Tires are TRASH

Lynda, Amazon
19 September 2014
  • Summary: Hankook tires are TRASH! My 60K tires wore out in 20K and Hankook refused to replace them. AVOID at all costs. Crap product and crap company.

Will never buy Hankook EVOs again

HRhealth, Amazon
25 May 2014
  • Summary: I had previously driven Dunlop Direzza's but wanted to try Hankook's high performance tire on my 335 convert (a summer car only). Their marketing was good and the price seemed like a value. After installing the tires, my mechanic tried to align the vehicle. No matter what the mechanic did, he was unable to get the car to run straight. We tried everything - switching tires on wheels, running the tires backwards - I mean everything. Nothing worked.

Tires What More Is There To Say!!!!

Coty Lake, Amazon

  • Summary: Try number two for this review. So I bought these a few months back because I needed tires for my 1995 BMW 325is with aftermarket rims and coil overs. The car drives good because these tires are good and work well for what their intended purpose is. I bought them from amazon vs other websites like tirerack because amazon ships free to their amazon prime members and I needed this quick. The price was good for what I was getting and even compared prices on other sites.

Great ride, value. Poor grip

M. Rowell, Amazon
16 October 2013
  • Summary: I'd give five stars for ride quality--very quite and gives you the nice new car feel. Gas mileage seems good, too, and with about 15000 miles on them so far the wear seems better than expected as well. I'd give 3 stars for grip, though. I have them on an A4 quattro and they don't grip anywhere near the Falcons I had previously. They are very predictable, though, which significantly makes up for the lack of shear grip when pushing the limits.

Outstanding tire & price.

norelpref, Amazon
8 August 2013
  • Summary: These replaced the terrible continental tires that came with our 2011 VW TDI Sportwagon. We don’t need all-season tires here in south Florida. These provide a MUCH quieter ride than the conti’s and provide far superior handling. The car just drives better with these. As usual, fast shipping and great price with Amazon.

  • Summary: This tire was a DRAMTIC improvement from the Summitomo HTRz II's that were on the car. THe noise level was cut in half (at least) and the wet traction was a huge improvement as well. They are very smooth and quiet and provide more than adequete traction in dry conditions. Very happy overall with these Hankook's. I also run their WinteriPike tires on all of our vehicles for the winter and love them. I think I am pretty much sold on the Hankook brand as a whole.

Great ride!!

Junior Mintz, Amazon
7 May 2012
  • Summary: Michelin stopped making the HX-MXM4 tires that came with my '03 Acura CL-S. Good reviews made me go with these tires. It's only a couple of weeks but I think they're a steal for the money. More comfortable than the Michelins but with no diminishing of handling. They do a great job of softening the bad roads in my town yet are still supple enough to be sporty. I'll update after monsoon season.

  • Summary: Replaced with these over the Falken 452 that was previously on. Better grip, quieter, smoother ride. Hope to get 25k miles out of rears, and about 30 out of fronts.
