Best M/C tire
21 November 2014
Summary: Excellent tire for my Honda ST1300. This is my second, logged 20,000 miles on the first. A little adjustment period, then it's just right. I will NEVER go back to overpriced M/C rear tires that last 7,000 miles.
Summary: These tires are quite amazing for the price. They stuck to the road like nothing I have ever driven on before. While they get loose in the wet during hard corning they do not hydro plan in heavy rain in speed excess of 80mph. Noise is also minimal in comparison to my old nexen n5000. All in all great summer tires!
Summary: I had previously driven Dunlop Direzza's but wanted to try Hankook's high performance tire on my 335 convert (a summer car only). Their marketing was good and the price seemed like a value. After installing the tires, my mechanic tried to align the vehicle. No matter what the mechanic did, he was unable to get the car to run straight. We tried everything - switching tires on wheels, running the tires backwards - I mean everything. Nothing worked.
Summary: Possibly one of the best investments I have made in my entire life. Car now runs like new. Takes corners like a champion and I have even noticed increased fuel economy. My vehicle no longer shakes when I break. Excellent traction!!! Buy without fear as I would buy these tires for my own mother.
Summary: Try number two for this review. So I bought these a few months back because I needed tires for my 1995 BMW 325is with aftermarket rims and coil overs. The car drives good because these tires are good and work well for what their intended purpose is. I bought them from amazon vs other websites like tirerack because amazon ships free to their amazon prime members and I needed this quick. The price was good for what I was getting and even compared prices on other sites.
Summary: I'd give five stars for ride quality--very quite and gives you the nice new car feel. Gas mileage seems good, too, and with about 15000 miles on them so far the wear seems better than expected as well. I'd give 3 stars for grip, though. I have them on an A4 quattro and they don't grip anywhere near the Falcons I had previously. They are very predictable, though, which significantly makes up for the lack of shear grip when pushing the limits.
Summary: These replaced the terrible continental tires that came with our 2011 VW TDI Sportwagon. We don’t need all-season tires here in south Florida. These provide a MUCH quieter ride than the conti’s and provide far superior handling. The car just drives better with these. As usual, fast shipping and great price with Amazon.
