Summary: Happy with the tires so far. Ride better than most e-rated tires. Probably due to the 2 ply sidewall. Seem firm on the highway though and don't wander. Definite hum, but not overwhelming. I have a 1/2 mile long dirt driveway that switchbacks up the mountain. Tires have great self cleaning in the snow. Decent traction on ice even without studs.
Summary: Being my first set of aftermarket larger tires (I've owned smaller cars my whole life) I must say I'm very happy with these Duratracs. They ride almost as smooth as the Bridgestone Dueler A/T's that came with my Jeep and they're rather quiet when compared to some larger tires I've heard...not to mention the aggressive tread pattern is killer. They do great on the road, in the wet, and are very impressive off road.
Summary: Had these tires for 5 months now. And five trips offroad these tires work great. 4 of the 5 times I didn't air down but the 5th time when I did they just hooked up even better. I'm a trailguide for our club and use my Jeep alot when building trails plus its my daily driver. I would recommend these to anyone.
Summary: Okay, first no one can balance these tires!!! I took it to three different dealerships and my steering wheel shook vigorously after each. Finally took it to a Goodyear dealer and they did it right. Goodyear tire. Go figure.. You have to balance them about every 5000 miles or your steering wheel will start shaking. These tires are awesome as far as traction goes but I won't buy them again.
Summary: I use my SUV for everything. Family hauler. Commuting. Camping. Emergency response. I researched a lot of tires and have a lot of experience with other AT/MT manufacturers. I went with the relatively new on the market Duratracs and have been very happy. I have complete confidence in these in all conditions. I rotate every 3-4k, and only had balance checked once. At 10k they are just now showing a little wear, about what I expected out of a quality AT/MT tire.
Summary: I shopped around looking for a good off-road tire which handles well on road. After reading many reviews stating this is a great choice; I called the guys @ Tread Depot. I checked with many different vendors and found Tread Depot had a great selection and the best prices.I have logged 12,000 plus miles and these tires still look like new.The ride is great and road noise is very minimum especially in a soft-top Jeep Wrangler. These tires replaced a set of Pro-Comp Xtreme AT...
Summary: Haven't had any winter weather yet, so I can't speculate on their abilities in winter. Wet roads=excellent. Wet mud/sand=excellent. Quiet hum road noise. Tread wear is good so far. For 1/2 ton 4x4 trucks, I wouldn't put anything else on. I'm an avid fisherman, and these tire get me to some pretty rough areas (without having to put in four wheel drive). They look amazing, I get lots of compliments. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. Can't wait to put'em on snow/ice.
