Summary: I use the Eagle F1 GS D3 tires on my 1992 Corvette.
I got them right before going to the VIR for High Performance Driver Education. They are superior in hugging the asphalt and I highly recommend them.
Summary: Tread design is great , specially for water on road, yet not soft enough for a drag strip. I prefer 18'' Eagle F1. Can you get a hundred dollar discount when you buy four? How about the fifth one free ?
Summary: This tire is as good as any street tire on the market. Prior to the Goodyear's, I had a set of autocross tires to get better handling and compensate for the weight of the car. The car handles just as good with this tire, without the drawbacks of a competition tire.
Summary: With 30,000 miles on this set of tires, it's time to replace them. They are amazing in the rain, as they don't hydroplane at all... even with the tread at the wear bars. They are not cheap, and they are not very quiet with worn tread, but a great tire, overall.
Summary: I've been running on these tires for 4 summers now and have to say they are outstanding. They have a very precise feel with excellent turn-in. And grip in both dry and wet conditions is phenomenal. I am a very aggressive driver who enjoys taking turns very hot to see if I can get my tires to squeal.
Summary: I've had these tires on for about 15,000 miles and can't stand the noise and vibration. I went to my Benz dealer thinking something was wrong... found out it was the tires. At first they rode great! But I drove from San Antonio to El Paso and back, to and from work and now I can't stand them.
