SP Sport Fast Response
27 May 2013
Summary: Braking in the Wet is an issue. After reading the statistics about braking in the wet I chose these tyres but I am now very disappointed. I believe is should of gone for the Uni Royal Rain Expert.
Summary: After giving this glowing reviews when fitted onto a powerful diesel I was disappointed with the lack of grip when attached to a light weight sports car. If you have a heavy car that eats tyres then do buy them as the weight moves the stiff thread blocks and provides some grip while stiffening up the suspension feel. The low price provides an opportunity for quality brand giving you less road noise, more durability and safety.
Summary: I have replaced the 2 front dunlop sp sport 3000 with sp sport fast response and am sorry to say there is no comparison.road noise is much increased and there is a very noticeable roughness to the ride.even my wife comented at the noticable diference and she is a non driver. I drive a Toyota Avensis diesel estate.
Summary: Very good ratio money / value but one thing. On of the tires developed an manufacturing defect in 3000 km and Dunlop refused to replace it despite the fact that it was obvious. This is why I,ll consider my next choice. The tire thread worn with 1 mm/ 10.000km. Normal life time 40000 - 50000 km on moderate to high usage.
Summary: If you've been driving a s***box with four mismatched tyres then, yes, the Fast Responses are going to feel amazing. I was incredibly disappointed. I fitted these to my WRX STi which usually runs Bridgestone Potenzas to save a bit of cash before selling the car and was immediately let down. The grip is OK, in fact once they settle down in a corner the grip levels are good, but the feel of the tyres is terrible.
