Just what we needed!

Vizit 360, B&H Photo
12 June 2014
  • Excerpt: We actually bought this system as a two solution purchase. The two way communications allow me to direct my assistant without having to raise my voice or use hand signals. Haven't yet used it for the microphone quality, but I can think of many good features. I hope the sound quality is as good on the recording end of this.
  • Pros: Easy to Use
  • Cons: Bluetooth Range Limited

works to well

  • Excerpt: the microphones work great, take some tweeking on the levels but once adjust they work well for cameras. This doesn't work for presentations, no matter how many adjustments made the mic picked up everything around it at the same level as the speaker, and there was terrible feedback and volume level issues
  • Pros: Easy to Use
  • Cons: No External Mic Input

Good bluetooth microphone for most voice recording projects

drj123, Ebay
4 January 2014
  • Summary: This bluetooth mic does a good job of voice recording, but there are a couple of things that I would change. First is the blue light that has been mentioned by many others is BRIGHT! If you are recording public talks, it can be disconcerting and you will probably need to cover it with electrical tape. These would be so much better with a flat black finish on the microphones.

BEWARE: NO Sony Customer Service

voxvera, B&H Photo
21 August 2013
  • Excerpt: BEWARE: A month after the one year warranty expired, the delicate plastic on/off switch on this Sony Bluetooth microphone broke (ecmaw3). E-mails went unanswered. Calling Sony's customer service is the most useless ever. Two hours of phone runarounds and transfers and not one lazy agent was able to help.
  • Pros: Works Nicely Auditioning
  • Cons: Short useful life, Switch Breaks Easily

Cable doesn't work with a Computer

mukroc, B&H Photo
7 January 2013
  • Excerpt: I found that this mic will not work when trying to connect it to a computer with the supplied cable. The cable is wired for use only with video cameras or voice recorders. I tried a standard mini connector cable with it, and it then worked fine on the computer.

Fun and quality accessory

Film family, B&H Photo
31 December 2012
  • Excerpt: We use it for personal use, not professional. It does a nice job picking up the voice of the person the microphone is on as well as any conversations that person is having and a couple people around the main subject. We had no problem when we put the microphone on a basketball coach, even though the gym was loud we could still here him and the assistant coach very easily. The microphone is a little large and hard to hide because it has a very bright blue light.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Good Interface With Camcorder
  • Cons: Bright Light, Heavy, Size Of A Lipstick

Genius in simplicity

Alexian, B&H Photo
29 December 2012
  • Excerpt: Used attached to DJ's wireless or line mics at wedding receptions. This way the mics can move at will and sound is captured from close to the speaker's mouth. Second channel (on-camera) mic picks up the ambient sound and the DJ,s setup has much less influence. Sound quality is not has good as a decent independent mic but is more than adequate for speech.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Good Interface With Camcorder, Improves Performance, Lightweight
