Clear pick-up, but softer case?

Excerpt: Having previously used the PGX24/PG58, I was happy to upgrade to these. They have a good clean pick up and a good range. However, the case went to a downgrade and is a soft case, the foam also doesn't seem good quality. With an upgrade of equipment I had hoped the protection for it would be equal or better, not lower. So overall, equipment is fine, but the case that came with it, not an improvement.
Summary: Good day! Excellent microphone. But you need to spend time to get used to him sing. Still condenser MIC. Competent construction and processing almost doesn't start. I recommend this microphone for live work and for home Studio.
Summary: I bought two of the SM86's to use at my church to replace a couple of the Sure prologue mics that belonged to the church. It blew me away of how much clearer vocals sounded on these mics. However, one night I was working an after hours event as a janitor at the University of South Carolina Sumter campus in Sumter SC. and knew they were going to have live musical groups that night. I had just purchased these microphones and was itching to try out there condensor ability.
Excerpt: There are some obvious cheapnesses [sic] to the product like the overabundance of plastic and the fact that it won't rack-mount. I don't care about either because I use it for public speaking and it works great. The WL93 lav mic that comes with it is nice and cheap so I don't have to be super careful with it. I alternatively use it with an earset mic (Point-Source Audio CO-6).
Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Easy To Use, Lightweight
Excerpt: I use this in A/V rental for hotels. The only limitation is you can only have 5 at a time however if that's not an issues there is no better wireless mic system. sounds great and never has any interference.
Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
Summary: This is a fantastic sounding microphone. Well worth the extra cost over SM/Beta58. I has a lovely smooth bass proximity effect and great clear sound. I always thought these mics were ideal for female vocals, but they also add a richness to the male voice that needs to be heard to be appreciated. But wait till I get my 2nd one before you rush to outbid me on the the other one's listed.
