Summary: This is a six mic set for drums. I did a lot of research into various drum mic products and this one stood out. Now I see why. It is a sweet set with everything you need to mic a basic drum set. As with all the Shure products that I have used the sound is awesome, the mics are easy to set up and use, they look good, and they come in a good case so I can keep it all together.
Summary: This is a good deal. All microphones work well. Very pleased with the presence of a convenient carrying case and a complete set of brackets and wires, making it easy to take the microphone with him on the record, quickly install and achieve good results recording. A great set for your money.
Summary: I have purchased several drum mic kits like this one for several clients on tight budgets. It doesn't sound as good as higher end models but it is very affordable. They are durable and if you damage or lose one, they are very inexpensive to replace. The case it pretty good and holds the mics and the mic clips so it is easy to tell if you forgot something. They hold their own against others in the same class.

Excerpt: The sound is great out of each of the mics. Where I see this pack really shine is in the kick drum mic. I see some reviews out there that complain about it, but I have gotten awesomely consistent results with a tight, focused attack with quite a nice amount of bass punch. I think maybe these people should tune their kick drum! The condensers are very sensitive, so there's a lot of tweaking that needs to happen to get those just right.
