"Okay for talking application, definetly not worth it for singing/ micing instruments."

  • Excerpt: it's alright for tonal quality... certainly doesn't have enough output though. It definetly is not a mic made for live band/recording scenarios.

  • Excerpt: We were new to music and literally just starting up our band and so we went to a music store to try and buy some new gear. We bought the Shure PG48 at about 40 pounds. It was at the time pretty decent. We of course did not know that shure was one of the biggest brands when it comes to music, and in particular microphones. The quality of this microphone is pretty good. It is what i would class as semi-professional.

  • Excerpt: spoken voice / Karaoke cardiovascular dynamics OVERALL OPINION I use it in talkback for 1 month and I am not disappointed. the strength of the material is visible (except interuptor which seems fragile). it is intended to voice spoke thus promotes mediums, very good record in conference for a bargain concurence!

  • Excerpt: The Shure PG 48 was a mic that I purchased years ago, probably around 6 years ago just because I needed a mic to record with on my laptop from home. Just do lay some pretty basic vocals down. I didn’t even have an audio interface at the time I just had the right wire connections and plugged it right into the mic in port on my laptop.
