The Shure KSM44 is studio microphone that has multiple pattern- cardiod, omnidirectional, bi directional. It has a dual large fiaphragm and has a self noise of 7dB. It is used for studio recording. Some of its other features include extended frequency response, low self-noise, low-frequency reproduction, high output level, input SPL capability, minimised cross-over distortion and uniform polar response.

The Shure KSM44 is a studio microphone. It features dual 1 inch, which is externally biased, it has a 2.5 micron and is also 24 karat gold layered. It uses the Mylar diaphragm with delivers a smoother transient response. Also included is class A, transformerless pre-amplifer that provides a fast transient response without any crossover distortion, whilst reducing distortions. It has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20 KHz that gives an accurate reproduction of voice and instrumental. The self noise rating is at 7dBA. The electronic components and external connectors as well as internal are gold-plated. The Shure KSM44 has a subsonic filter that reduces sound from mechanical vibration below 17Hz. Some of its other features include a 15dB attenuation switchable filter, durable zinc die cast housing as well as low carbon steel grille that protects the catridge from unpredictable drops or abuse. The Shure KSM44 has a uniform polar response as well as integrated internal shock mount and a replacement catridge.
