  • Summary: This is a well known, high quality mic. I bought it because as a live-sound engineer this product is a must-have. I'm very satisfied with the mic, and the price was very good! Top rating from Norway.

  • Excerpt: The Shure Beta 91 is a unique boundary condenser microphone for use in the studio. I’ve only used this microphone a few times, but it’s the best of it’s type that I’ve used. It’s got a very high SPL capability as it can handle very loud signals. It’s got a half cardioid polar pattern, which makes sense considering the shape and design of the mic.

  • Excerpt: I am a sound engineer, I used and I use the beta91 and prdecesseur, the SM91A. There were two versions of the SM91A. This condenser microphone is interfaced with a micro prampli spar, food in 24 or 48V phantom before connecting the XLR console.
