Excerpt: Whenever I run into someone using a looping station, or other on stage gear, I like to use my Beta 58A's. I often use condenser microphones for vocals but considering you can't get a power source to them (48V DC) when external gear is between your pre amp and the mic, the Dynamic Beta 58A is a great, durable, reliable choice with a tight Supercardioid polar pattern. I would choose this over a standard SM-58 almost any day.
Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Versatile
Excerpt: Using for one on one interviews. These mics feel rugged & look good. (You get a little blue accent if you buy BETAS...) Bought these versions as they cost just a little more than other 58s, promise a touch more vocal warmth & will last a long time. Recordings are nice & clean & that's all that matters in the end!
Summary: I had some trouble with my old wireless system when my facility switched over to all florescent lights so went shopping for a true diversity system. I bought the Shure system with this mic. Sounded great until I started sweating. The cheesy, thin wind screens even when doubled up did not prevent sweat from occluding the mic screen and getting in to rust out the innards.
Summary: I bought a pair of these to use in my mic kit for doing stage productions. These are great all around mics and of course the quality and reliabilty of Shure is industry standard. These mics are a step between the standard sm58 and the higher end Beta 87 series. I have been a sound engineer for over 30 years and I will always choose these or regular sm58s for any singer.
Summary: THIS ITEM WORKS PERFECT. IT TRULLY LIVES UP TO ITS GOOD REPUTATION.THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM USING A SHURE WIRELESS PROFESSINAL MICROPHONE AND IT IS VERY IMPRESSIVE.THE SIGNALS COME IN CLEAN AND CLEAR WITH NO STATIC OR DISTORTION.
Shure Wireless Systems: dependable and cost effective.
7 April 2012
Summary: I had been using a single channel, relatively inexpensive Audio-Technica wireless system for aerobics classes until the facility switched over from halide lighting to all florescent lighting. Suddenly I was getting lots of noise and popping which really distracted from classes and made me fear for the speakers in my system. I decided I needed a true diversity system and chose the Shure system for both price and positive reviews.
