"Looks Better Than It Sounds"

Summary: You've probably seen models posing with this mic in countless ads over the last couple of years, which is kind of lame, because now if you have it, then it looks like you're just posing too. And unfortunately it looks better than it sounds.
Summary: I bought the Shure 55SH Series II a couple of months ago. More as a trophy to myself, I'vealways wanted one. After getting it and testingit. I would say its best applications would befor a live stage performance, or public address. However, it is a stretch to say it works well in a studio atmosphere. It takes quite a bit of processing to get it to sound good. It's muchhigher in the mid-range than I expected.
Summary: This microphone is timeless. I've always wanted one since I was a wee little one watching the movie Streets Of Fire. Diane Lane looked so hot using this microphone as a kidnapped singer/rock star in that movie!
