It can pick up noises even from a noisy background. The Sennheiser ME 66 is a short gun type microphone. It has been designed for use with the K6 and K6P power modules. This microphone is very much suited for use in reporting, film and broadcasting location application. It features a super cardiod and lobar pick up pattern that reduces the external noises. The microphone picks up the quiet signals in a noisy environment and discriminates against sound not coming from the main pick up location. In addition to this, it is highly directional. It also has a low inherent self-noise and high sensitivity. Besides this its frequency response is 40-20,000. The sensitivity of the Sennheiser ME 66 is 50 mV/Pa and has a nominal impedance of 200 ohms. The Sennheiser ME 66 measures .88 x 8.7 and weighs 2.29oz.
