Worth the price of admission.

Summary: Purchased and set up with soundman. So far impressed with plug and play usability, quality, size of pack and sound! I'm using the stock earphones but have ordered custom molds to complete the package. Can't wait to use them on stage next week! This or the Shure were the two I considered and found on eBay for a really great price.

Summary: As a Indie location Sound Mixer, i love to bring to the tiny production the types of conveniences that larger contract shows take for granted - like wireless audio monitoring for the Director and Script supervisor. Though the Sennheiser EW 300 IEM (In-Ear Monitoring) system does come with a rack mountable transmitter, capable of sending two-channel stereo to it's receivers, it can also receive broadcast from Sennheiser's other body-pack transmitters (G2 and G3 versions).
Summary: Great system...however, it turned out to be in 700's frequency range, which will be illegal to use after June 12th 2010. Buyers beware when buying a used wireless system. Make sure it is not in the "C" band.
