Excerpt: I just got to use the mic in both a rehearsal and a live performance. The sound couldn't be better: I can sing as low, as high, as soft and as sharp as I want to, and this microphone is going to capture everything exactly as it is. There's no "metal-ish" feeling; it sounds as real as my voice does.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Durable, Great Sound, Stylish
Summary: Sennheiser is an amazing company…… Very Good products at an affordable price…..This is the third Sennheiser mic I have bought. Very Pleased with the vocal and Condenser mics I now own. Made in Germany!
If you are an above average singer you will choose the e835 over SM58

Summary: For my voice, I much prefer this mic over my SM58. The e835 reproduces the air harmonics that define the tonal definition I want when singing. Add to that the absence of popping P's if I move a bit off center and I love this mic.
This mic is a very competative alternative to the SM-58 and has more range.

Summary: Dynamic mics are very affordable and I use one several times weekly. The Shure SM-57 has been the one that I've used for a few years but wasn't sure (no pun) if it was a real good match for my PA. So I tested several including the SM-58 and Audio-Technics along with the Sennheiser 835.
Excerpt: I'm using this microphone to record my voice for audio lectures. I'm doing the recording at my desk in my office, which is why I selected a dynamic mic rather than a condenser (to reject ambient noises). The recordings sound great and very clear.
