Summary: We bought this mic to add to our existing group of e835's. The sound of these is excellent and the feedback rejection better than average. They are a little heavy but not enough to be a problem, this negative is offset by the benefit of great isolation from bumps and pops that plague many lower end mics. It can be handheld easily while sounding as though it is in the stand.
Summary: I purchased my Sennheiser e835 new in the box from a local Craigslist seller, paid $50. I am used to getting very nice audio reports from using the stock hand mic with my TS-2000 utilizing the internal mic equalization controls. With the e835 I am now often getting audio reports with statements like; "broadcast quality", "very deep and rich". This mic does have very strong lows. The case and basket design quality are excellent.
Excerpt: We use this mic for female background vocals. This model is durable (teenagers use it and it holds up well). It has great all around sound whether being used by the presenter (spoken word) or for music.
Solid, reliable vocal microphone for live sound at a great price.

Summary: It's a solid, reliable vocal microphone even on a budget. It may have a little too much low end for some tastes, but that's about the only EQ you'd need to fool with (unless it's a female vocalist). Being sold used, the price point is stable and around $15-$30 less than a Shure SM58.
Summary: I brought this product for various performance events. What I liked about the packaging was the accessories that came with the microphone. The product is high quality. Great sound and clarity!
