Summary: I bought the 3 pack and they came with the clips that fit my drum rims great. They sound awesome for the live playing that I do. I have had these for about a month and there great mics so far.
Summary: There is no such thing as a mic that works for everything every time, however the e604 seems to be the nearly perfect rack tom mic. It has great attack and reproduces the varying sounds of toms faithfully. I still prefer the Audix D4 on deep floor toms. The e604 requires less EQ tweeking than SM57s and is at least as good as the Audix D2 which is a fine microphone. The e604 rim mount is slick and works on the vast majority of drums.
Best tom mic for the money and comes with a rim clip

Summary: I use these mics 0n toms 8", 10", 12" they work great for live performance and recording. Great tone, clarity and good SPL. I would recommend these for anyone who wants good quality on a budget. I also use EV468s and the 604Es are definitely in their league. I also appreciate the fact that they come with rim clip.
Summary: I am starting my Mics for the Drumms and have a 602E for the kick, and now going after the 604's gonna need about 6 to cover a Big set and as soon as U tell the Drummer that He'll be using Senn's there eyes light up cause they know that ther're gonna sound great!!!
Summary: Great sound. I believe that it gives a more natural representation of my snare and toms than an SM57. Great small size and compact rim clip don't get in the way or limit the ability to closely position other instruments near this mic. It has some positioning limitations when using it with the included rim mount due to the mic cable. A 90 degree mic cable would point the wrong direction and would be difficult to use with this mic while mounted on the included rim mount.
Summary: Bottom Line? Great for live applications and very convenient for quick set ups and a reliable sound. Not so hot in the studio because of its inability to really grab that thick low-end sound you look for in your toms, especially the floors. Great deal for the price and perfect for the start-up studio on a budget.
Pros: These mics are very convenient and clip right onto toms, snare, congas, ect. They have a pretty good response and ton on toms smaller than right around 14'. These are great in live situations, especially for venues that will change drum kits 4 times a night - easy to take down and set up - no mic stands, just small clips compatible with all types of rims.
Cons: These mics lack low end definition making them not so good for studio application. They also tend to pick up a long of vibration from the rims and have a rather high self-noise. Great live, though!
