A Great Deal!

  • Summary: I use Neumann, AKG, Mojave Audio, Sennheiser and Rode mics in my studio. I sometimes prefer this mic over Neumann for close micing, especially when cutting acoustic/vocal tracks. It's very detailed presence is flawless and velvety smooth without accentuating any unnecessary higher frequencies. Don't let the price of the SE2200A fool you.

Top Budget Condenser

  • Summary: You can spend any ridiculous amount on Condenser Mics as you like so it was with trepidation that I bought this one, although it had been recommended to me. It has a quality that belies its price and I would recommend this to anyone who want to record vocals and acoustic instruments alike. I use this regularly in the studio and it provides excellent quality and comes with a quality shockmount. I would rate this as the best budget microphone out there so get involved.
