Excerpt: I mainly use this in studio for voice over and video work and so far it's been great. I've used much more expensive shotgun mics but at this price level it'll definitely get the job done. There is a little noise with this but it's not horrible. If you need a mic and you're on a budget, this is a solid choice.
Excerpt: First, IGNORE every comment by someone who thinks it's a good idea to leave a battery inside a piece of electronics... they are truly ignorant rookies and will someday wake up to find leakage has damaged their gear. You should ALWAYS take the battery out of everything it goes into when you're finished.
