Summary: This mic is working well for me, Has a very crispy high-end a booming low end. I do have to tweek the mids for my (male) voice but only slightly. Overall you could record some solid vocals without any EQ at all. Love the Pattern options Cardioid , figure 8 and full circle.. and the Low and High Roll-offs. Its a banging package for the price.
Summary: fantastically easy to use, has a smooth sound. easy to assemble and disassemble for quick use! for its' price point it has a great quality sound and is perfect for anyone looking for that next step up in home recordings or demos
Summary: It is a superb mic for male rap vocals and acoustic guitar. I'm an independent musician who is fairly simplistic and uses mostly acoustic instruments. This mic is dynamic, crisp and clear. If I had the money I would buy another and use it for stereo recording. The low cut and db cut switches are great for deep vocals or guitar. I have yet to use it in omni or figure eight patter but I'm choral director for a group at school so I'll be testing that out use fairly soon.
Summary: I am just putting together my home studio for recording of vocals and instruments and have found this microphone and package to be of high quality. I would highly recommend it for its value and quality.
Summary: This is a very high quality microphone that can be used to record any instrument. It is extremely versatile with the ability to filter out frquencies below 80Hz or 40Hz with a low-cut filter. It also has a choice of 5dB or 10dB pads for use when recording very loud sound sources. It has 3 recording patterns: figure-of-eight, cardioid and omni. So you get 3 microphones for the price of 1.
