Great For Podcasting

Mechanik, B&H Photo
30 October 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought this for recording my podcast and the audio is superb. This package made it very easy to do one stop shopping and get everything I needed except the studio boom. I watched some comparison videos on YouTube comparing this to the Rode Procaster and Rode Podcaster and although they sounded respectable, there was just no comparison in the audio quality and the NT1-A won hands down.Be forewarned that this microphone is very sensitive and if you are monitoring any...

Mistake in my previous Review

  • Excerpt: Wrote in a previous review that this pack comes with a table stand, which it DOES NOT. My bad. I think this guy just comes with the microphone shock mount and pop filter, both of which work perfectly well!

Awesome Starter Pack

JJ the Movie Guy, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Microphone picks up a really nice sound. I use it for recording voice overs and some bad attempts at singing. It's a really good pack to pick up for a small home studio. If you do a TON of recording, I'd suggest getting a more versatile stand (instead of the table stand this comes with). But for people who only do the occasional sound work, it's a good deal!

Extremely good mike!

daypass, Ebay
7 August 2014
  • Summary: First: I did not get a matched pair, only a single, used mike at a very good price. As for the mike itself: VERY good quality in terms of both the physical mike itself, but also, and of course more importantly, extremely good pickup of sound, and nice, flat response (That is, what this mike puts out is exactly what you were miking.) I do recording on a Boss BR-900CD ministudio (which I also love), then go to a professional studio for remix and mastering.

The Rode Nt1a Large Conderser Microphone

Yash Pandit, ReviewStream
26 July 2014
  • Excerpt: Rode is legendary for its microphone. They are considered to be top of the line. But say you’re like me, an upcoming artist on a budget. You want a microphone that competes with commercial studio quality. The nt1a from Rode is the mic for you.

Excellent product, I would definitely buy !

bargainvilleauctionsusa, Ebay
7 July 2014
  • Summary: I opted for this one instead of the NT 1A as the frequency response is a little flatter. This is a great kit and equality made product. If you register your microphone with road you get a ten-year plus warranty! Think about this when looking for a microphone if a company is willing to stand behind their product for 10 years it must be quality!
