  • Excerpt: I had read a few good reviews online about this microphone. So I went to a dj store and saw the mic and tried it out there I loved it. To bad it was [$]. But I saw it on B&H for such a low price I couldn't pass it by! Its is a over all great mic I use it for vocals.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Mic clip not included

Great mic in hiding

  • Excerpt: Essentially the same mic as the MXL 992. Sounds dreadful. But can be greatly improved professional standards.
  • Cons: Poor Sound Quality

Good performance for the price

  • Summary: Have not recorded any music witht hem yet, but so far the vocals are very clean and warm and they are working great for live amplification on a professional theatre stage. Both mics are being utilized for the orchestra in a professional production of Little Shop of Horrors. Good quality, well built. Will update after more recording has been done.

Great Sax Mic

  • Summary: I bought a pair of these mics to use in my portable studio. I also have a selection of other mics (MXL, Shure, AKG & ElectroVoice). I normally use them for backing vocals since they have a nice warm tone without the strident top end present on some condensers. I've also used them to mike the body of acoustic guitar for the same reasons then balanced it with a small diaphram condenser for the lower neck.
