Great bang for the buck when it comes to room/ambience recording.

Summary: We are going to use this one as a room mic in our rehearsal room. It has all advantages of an omni mic (no proximity, realistic response, less distortion, less price). Delivers a flat responce (if mounted in the middle of a flat continuous wall, which promises many other advantages) with a realistic picture of what's cooking here in the room; a reasonable impedance (of 200 Ohms) that should give a plenty of head room for loud sources as well (like drums).
