Excerpt: I used this mic for pastors officiating weddings and other public speaking events. Excellent gain before feedback. I would recommend this highly over the AT829CW. Minus one star for flimsy cord. Take care wrapping it and handling it and it will perform great.
Summary: The Audio-Technica ATR 35S is a good choice for beginner video advocates who want to record on-camera talent and wish to get clean audio on the VO Track. The microphone has 20ft. of cable which gives the camera person enough slack, and the mini-jack on the end of the cable can plug directly into the inputs on consumer grade cameras. There is also a button battery which leaves out the drama of whether your camera would provide phantom power to a consumer grade microphone.
Excerpt: This is an excellent mic for church use. This purchase was made as a replacement for one that has been used for years and it was just time to make it the backup mic. I have always been extremely satisified with Audio Technica mics.
Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
Excerpt: We purchased this as a replacement for the mike that came with the wireless system. The reason I rated it 4 stars is that I thought the cord did not hold up well (it broke after two years of minimal use). However we have been extremely pleased with the performance of the mike and the system. Great price, great service, fast delivery from B&H.
Summary: I use the Audio Technica line of lavaliers in my legal video business. They have a nice sound. Also at the inexpensive price point, if they get broken by someone who is not familiar with microphone use, I can simply replace it without breaking the bank. I would recommend this product to anyone who is needing a great mic at a great price. I feel it compares to other mics that are much more expensive.
Product so great it's a steal! Great value, great results!

Summary: I own one Audio Technica ATR-35S unidirectional mic and this little piece of equipment packs a punch. I ran some tests with this lav mic and my Zoom external audio recorder and got studio quality/perfect audio. For the price, its pretty much a steal. You think by paying around $20 for a mic, it will break or sound crappy. That is definitely not the case with this product, even so that I am ordering a 2nd one.
Buy this if your on a budget. It will get the job done!

Summary: Its a good microphone. The quality of the sound is not hi-def but it is good enough to get the job done till you are able to shell out $250 for a high end lapel. I am happy with it so far. Not sure if its my computer or the mic but there is a little noise in the line.
Excerpt: We use these mics for sound reinforcement in a wide variety of live events. They are simple, dependable, good-sounding microphones. However, the cord is a little fragile, but any cord this small is going to be fragile.
Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
