Good basic Lav.

Kevin, B&H Photo
5 March 2012
  • Excerpt: A good lavalier for the beginning user. A goodlav for the presetup shoots. This not a easy mic to setup quickly since it is not wireless. For being a wired mic I wish it was a little cheaper.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Limited Functions

Mic works well; beware sharp edges

SkyDiary, B&H Photo
15 February 2012
  • Excerpt: This microphone works well for my purposes - video interviews. The sound is clear and fine. However, be cautious with the metal clip on the back of the power pack. I cut myself twice on it (beware extremely sharp edges on hole in middle of clip) before I realized what the problem was. I taped over it with duct tape to get around the problem.
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Easy To Use
  • Cons: Sharp edges on clip

A bit large, but that's expected

Dave, Sonic Orb Studios, B&H Photo
5 September 2011
  • Excerpt: I got this as I have a few client videos coming up and want to get a mic right up on them cutting out room noise. Being a directional style mic, it's a bit larger however I find it still sounds quite good and really keeps room noise out well. The price is another thing I like about this product. It's affordable and sounds decent, what more could you ask for?
  • Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
  • Cons: A bit large
