Excerpt: I've had the AT4050 for less than a month and today I did some very fine recording with it. I was impressed and decided to write here. It is a very good mic, very professional sounding, no compromise kind of mic. No surprise it is the best selling mic in its price range. Buy with confidence.
Summary: This mic has been a welcome addition to my locker. It delivers transparent and quiet recordings and the most useful patterns at a very reasonable price. My only complaint would be that the shock mount design makes it difficult to mount the mic, which has to be pulled though a tight rubber band, catching on the switches.
Natural sound, very high quality, reasonable price.

Summary: It has a transformerless design and a flat frequency response, which delivers a nice natural sound. Multipattern, very high quality. It´s hard to beat it in this price range and this microphone type. It blows away Rode NT2-A (unless you want a VERY bright sound). The price is very reasonable. A new classic.
Excerpt: Very good mic, with lots of details, very clean, accurate and transparent. On voice, you can ear each breath of the singer. I didn't give 5 stars because I was Expecting more gain (than the shure ksm32)but it give just the same output level. But sound is lots better!
Excerpt: Very crisp. Purchased this after I noticed the studio I go to has it in all the rooms. The engineers love it and the price was just right. I am a VO actor and recommend the AT4050 to anyone in the business. A high end mic at a very reasonable price.
